Professional Experience #

Vice President of Engineering, Bondway.ai (2024 – Present) #

US corporate bond market AI pricing and analytics startup.

  • Coordinated with company leadership, sales, and product leads in addition to direct customer interaction to conceive, design, and implement new features and technical solutions
  • Championed AI-assisted development across the team using Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini for code generation, test writing, and technical documentation
  • Architected, implemented, and maintained multiple critical platform features using Go, TypeScript, Vue on AWS stack including ECS Fargate, Lambda, SQS, SES, SNS, KMS, Aurora Postgres managed via Terraform including:
    • Real time alerting system that evaluated customer generated rulesets over bond and bond index prices delivering notifications within 10 seconds of price calculation
    • Access Control List (ACL) based sharing functionality allowing users to collaborate in real time
    • Permissioned platform messaging allowing users to communicate and send annotated data visualizations

  • Productionized data pipeline for ingesting live trade data and calculating real time bond prices using an AI model for 32,000+ US corporate bonds as trades executed and yields changed with active-passive resiliency, end to end testing, and instrumentation

Card line of business of a Fortune 100 credit card issuer, auto lender, and bank serving 100+ million customers.

  • Led version two architecture and development of a patented 2nd-factor identity technology that delivers an easy, reliable, and privacy-oriented identity management solution to partner card issuers and merchants now in production on newly issued debit cards
  • Collaborated extensively with internal product, legal, cyber, and architecture partners, as well as partner teams at licensing and partner companies like AWS and Google to ensure seamless delivery and integration of specialized embedded software:
    • Direct collaboration with AWS to tailor cloud payment HSM product to meet our requirements
    • Direct collaboration with Google to refine WebNFC performance and functionality
  • Implemented a credit card tap testing robot to identify NFC signal strength variance across mobile device types
